Powder Flu Limited Release

Powder Flu Limited Release

Since 2004, Powder Buoy has been the insider’s source for forecasting incoming winter storms and powder in Utah and the broader Mountain West. Thousands plan their ski travel—and sick days—around the epic flag that is the PB community. This institution resides locally in Park City, but it’s a beacon for powder lovers across the nation and beyond.

Deep in the North Pacific, a lonely NOAA weather buoy floats off the shores of Hawaii. Similar to how surfers track swells at their local breaks, Powder Buoy uses this buoy’s “pops” to track powder storms headed for UT. To learn more about Powder Buoy and follow the forecast, head to @PowderBuoy on instagram.

We’ve known Mike Ruzek, the mastermind behind Powder Buoy, for several years. We share a love of powder days and earned beverages with friends. So it seemed natural to collaborate on a limited-release Powder Flu Tumbler to celebrate the Winter ’24 ski and aprés season.

The first Powder Flu collaboration is a toast to our hometown. This 98.0 (98 units) limited release features our 16-oz Sèrpa Tumbler in Aspen White with a special edition laser-etched Powder Buoy logo.

Powder Buoy x SMMT 98.0 Limited Edition Tumbler

The (un)official tumbler of après, SMMT’s insulated Sèrpa Tumbler is leakproof, with a craftsman stainless steel lid that magnetically nests in the bottom of the tumbler while you’re sipping. Honored as Gear Patrol’s “Best New Tumbler,” this limited release is sure to go fast. Whether you like a warm drink to chase the early morning storms or a cold beverage after a day of powder, make sure to pick yours up now before this limited release sells out.

If you missed this release or are interested in hearing about upcoming ones, join SMMT’s email community to be the first to know.

Now go get some pow,

Jamie and Michelle
