Every spring, we open the doors.
If you’re new here, this is one of our favorite traditions. Each year, we design a small collection of premium insulated drinkware concepts and invite our community to vote on what we actually bring to life. The winning design launches mid-July, but the story starts months earlier, with you.
This is the Sunsets Community Cast.
The idea began in our first year, rooted in how we believe an outdoor lifestyle brand should be built: thoughtfully, intentionally, and with real people involved. We’ve always been family-centric, boutique by choice, and unapologetically community-obsessed. Inviting our supporters into the design process, sharing the work before it’s finished, felt like the most honest way to build community-designed drinkware.
Each year, more people participate.
Each year, the conversations get better.
And each year, it becomes more fun to watch where the collection goes when it’s shaped by our community..
The double M’s in SMMT stand for Mountain & Marine. It’s both our product brief and our aspirational lifestyle. We build vacuum insulated tumblers with serious insulation and zero spills so they move effortlessly between wild places—high trails, quiet beaches, campsites, tailgates, and sunsets that stretch longer than planned.
The Sunsets Collection lives at the center of that philosophy.
Our design concepts pull from both sides of the spectrum: alpine shade and coastal warmth. We all have that memory—a pause on a ridgeline or toes in the sand with endless blue ahead. These designs aren’t just colors. They’re feelings. They’re places. They’re moments worth carrying with you.
